TAM Linhas Aéreas joined Star Alliance on May 13th, 2010.
One of the priority actions for joining the Star Alliance network was the migration of TAM’s commercial systems for passenger and check-in management to the Amadeus Altéa CMS platform. In 2009, the company undertook a complete overhaul of its technological platform.
The technical-operational excellence of the company was recognised yet again by IATA (International Air Transport Association). For the third time, the quality and safety of TAM were confirmed by the international IOSA certification (IATA Operational Safety Audit).
