TAP launches Mobile Check-In

TAP has just introduced a Mobile Check-in service through the Portal TAP Mobile website (mobile.flytap.com). The service can be used on mobile phones with internet access and TAP applications for iPhone and iPad, which can be downloaded for free in the iTunes App Store.
With this new service, customers only need a cell phone to check in for their flights. They no longer have to go to the check-in desk on the day of their journey.
After completing the Mobile Check-in process, TAP customers receive their boarding pass on their mobile phone. If you are travelling with checked luggage, drop it off at the luggage drop-off counter, observing the cut-off times shown in the table.
If you are travelling with only hand luggage, there are no set times for when you must be at the airport, but passengers should take into account that the boarding gate closes 15 minutes prior to the fight’s departure time.
The launch of this service reaffirms TAP’s position as a leader in offering its customers new products and services that make the most of new technologies.
