TAP Check-in Online

Check-in online is the quickest, most convenient and efficient way for TAP passengers to check-in via the Internet, enabling them to present themselves directly at the boarding gate without first having to go to the airline company ticket desk in the airport.

Print out your boarding card at www.flytap.com - and have a nice flight!

Note: In case you haven't indicated your Victoria Number on your reservation and wish to credit your web check-in miles please keep your boarding passes.

Check-in online is only possible for passengers with confirmed reservations and on flights operated by TAP and is available on departures from the following countries:

 

  • Angola (Departures from Luanda: only available from 48 hours in advance and up to 5 hours prior to your flight's departure)
  • Belgium (Brussels)
  • Brazil (Belo Horizonte, Brasilia, Fortaleza, Natal, Recife, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Sao Paulo, Guarulhos; Sao Paulo, Viracopos)
    NB: When travelling with or without baggage you MUST proceed to the tap|executive class ticket desk so the boarding fee seal can be affixed to your Boarding Card without which you will not be allowed access to your boarding gate.
  • Croatia (Zagreb)
    NB: For this city of departure, you will be directed to our partner Swissport in order to do your online check-in.

IMPORTANT:

  1. This service is not available to passengers on resident or student ticket tariffs (Madeira and Azores Islands).
  2. This service is not available to the USA given the specific nature of the procedures for this destination.
  3. If you have been asked to confirm your credit card details in person at a TAP ticket desk or during your check-in you will not be able to check-in online.


Online Check-in is available
:

  • Between 24 hours before flight and 90 minutes prior to departure (except to Luanda, only up to 5 hours prior to departure);
  • For passengers with confirmed bookings on TAP or PGA's flights;
  • For passengers travelling without baggage, carry-on luggage or stowed luggage;
  • For passengers holding an Electronic Ticket (ET).

Check-in online is carried out via our website with the immediate print-out of the respective boarding card.

In the same way, the passenger is given the ease of cancelling his/her check-in. When this occurs, the passenger is advised that the boarding card is invalid from this moment.

"Through Check-ins" and "Return Check-ins" are possible, but only on TAP-operated flights.

In the event a passenger is traveling with stowed baggage, check here ticket desk and time limits for baggage drop-off in airports.

After security checks and when necessary passport control and customs, passengers should proceed to their boarding gate at the time shown on their respective boarding card and provide flight staff with ID and a valid travel document.

After this, all standard procedures apply. On board and when asked to, passengers should show the boarding card stub given to them.
