Berlin is the new TAP destination

From 5 June 2012 TAP will start operating flights to Berlin as from 5 June next year, offering five flights per week between Lisbon and the German capital.
The new flights will operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, departing from Lisbon at 9.30 and arriving in Berlin at 12.50. In the opposite leg flights will depart from Berlin at 13.35 and arrive in Lisbon at 17.15. On Tuesdays the scheduled departure time is different, with the flight departing from Lisbon at 8.45 and arriving in Berlin at 12.05 and then departing from Berlin at 12.50 and arriving in Lisbon at 16.30 (UTC).
With the launch of the new Berlin route, as from summer 2012, TAP will be operating a total of 60 flights per week between Portugal and Germany, where it already flies to Frankfurt (21 flights per week), Munich (14 flights per week), Hamburg (13 flights per week) and Düsseldorf (7 flights per week).
Between January and November 2011, TAP transported a total of 484,000 passengers between Portugal and Germany which represented a growth of 11.5% in relation to the same period of the previous year.
