Converting Miles

TAP and the Victoria Programme are pioneers in this new Miles Shop feature!

Now you can convert your Bonus Miles into Status Miles for a payment of only €60 for each block of 2,000 Bonus Miles - which correspond to 1,000 Status Miles.

Victoria Miles are credited as Bonus Miles and every time you fly on TAP flights and on flights operated by Star Alliance member airlines, you will collect additional Status Miles. Status Miles are only used to maintain or achieve the status of Victoria Silver Winner or Victoria Gold Winner as they are not added to the available balance in your account that is used for awards.

Conditions:

• Bonus Miles can only be converted into Status Miles in blocks of 2,000 miles; each block of 2,000 Bonus Miles is worth 50% of the Status Miles, or in other words, 1,000 Status Miles;

• The transaction is paid for via the payment methods available on tapvictoria.com (credit card). These transactions may be subject to an international processing charge;

• The number of miles that can be converted is limited to the annual Status Miles collection period and the status of the Victoria Member;

• This conversion transaction cannot be revoked. Therefore before undertaking it, please read the terms and conditions carefully;

• The conversion feature of Bonus Miles into Status Miles will come into force on 6 June 2011, and will not apply retrospectively to Status Miles collection periods.

Conditions and Examples:

1) You are a Miles Winner Member and your annual collection period for Status Miles runs from 1 May 2011 to 30 April 2012. During this period you can only convert 10,000 Bonus Miles, or in other words you can only "acquire" 5,000 Status Miles in this way.

2) You are a Silver or Gold Winner Member and your annual collection period for Status Miles runs from 1 May 2011 to 30 April 2012. During this period you can only convert 20,000 Bonus Miles, or in other words you can only "acquire" 10,000 Status Miles in this way.

3) The validity of the converted Status Miles is determined by the annual collection period during which they were acquired. Your annual collection period of Status Miles runs from 1 May 2011 to 30 April 2012 and the converted miles are only valid for this specific period.

Extra Status Miles

Earn even more Status Miles every time you fly with TAP!

From 1 June 2011 every time you fly with TAP you will earn extra Status Miles.

If you are a Silver customer, in addition to the 25% Bonus Miles, you will also collect 25% Status Miles based on the total miles flown.

Victoria Gold customers will collect, in addition to the 50% Bonus Miles, 50% Status Miles based on the total miles flown.

Segments Flown

From 1 June 2011, in addition to the number of Status Miles collected, you will have another way of maintaining or upgrading your Victoria member status.

If you are a Miles Winner or a Silver Winner customer you will be able to increase or maintain your membership status by collecting 30,000 Status Miles, or alternatively, by flying 25 flight segments operated by TAP during your annual validity period for Status Miles.

To be eligible or to maintain the Gold Winner status, you must collect 70,000 Status Miles or alternatively, by flying 50 flight segments operated by TAP during your annual validity period for your Status Miles calculation.

Now your miles count....and so do TAP flights!
