Round-the-World ticket

Routing

Round-the-World tickets are available for travel in Economy and Business Class on scheduled flights operated by Star Alliance carriers only.

Award travel must be on a continuous west or eastbound direction and must terminate in the country where travel originated.

Round-the-World journey must include one Pacific and one Atlantic crossing.
A maximum of 10 segments with a maximum of 6 stopovers (in any one city) is permitted.

Not more than one international departure and not more than one international arrival are permitted in the country of origin.

Backtracking is only permitted as required by the Star Alliance network.
Open jaws are permitted.

Booking

Contact your Victoria Service Centre or a TAP office to request a Round-the-World ticket.

Awards issue

Have your credit card number ready (for payment of airport taxes and administration fees).

As soon as the booking is made, the miles corresponding to your award will be debited from your mileage account.


Once a ticket has been issued, members may change their flight schedule, but must stick to the route.

Terms ad conditions 

• Round-the-World tickets remain valid for 12 months from the date of ticket issuance, the last flight must commence on the last day of ticket validity.
• If reward travel is carried out in different classes of service, the higher award fares will apply for the entire ticket.
• Round-the-World tickets cannot be combined with upgrades. No mileage re-credit in part or whole permitted after travel commences.
• Victoria's Award eligibility and other conditions, excluding conditions stated above, apply to Star Alliance Round-the-World award travel.

• The seat availability for awards varies according to the destination and time of year. The number of seats is limited even if flights are not fully booked. These awards may not be available on all flights. Please contact your Victoria Service Centre.
