Companion Tickets are only available on TAP flights, only as round trip tickets.

Conditions

• Companion Tickets are only available on TAP flights and only as round trip tickets.
• The accompanying passenger must travel in the same or lower class than the paid ticket holder and fly on the same flight, outbound and/or return.
• The companion cannot return before the Sunday immediately following the outbound flight.
• Only one Companion Ticket can be issued for each paid ticket on which miles may be collected. Companion Tickets are not subject to upgrades. The same number of miles is required for Companion Tickets, whether the passengers are adults or children.
• Child fares are not valid for Companion Tickets.
• Return ticket: maximum of 4 segments.
• Companion Tickets are valid for one year after date of issue.
• The seat availability varies according to the destination and time of year.
• The number of seats is limited even if flights are not fully booked.
• These awards may not be available on all flights. Please contact your Victoria Service Centre.

Booking awards

Book your paid flight and after your ticket has been issued contact your Victoria Service Centre or a TAP office to request a Companion Ticket.

Award issue

• Have your credit card number ready for payment of airport taxes and service fees. As soon as the booking is made, the miles corresponding to your award will be debited from your mileage account.
• Please note that awards are issued electronically whenever possible. If no e-ticket is available, we will send you a paper ticket. Be aware that the delivery of a paper ticket requires 7 working days for residents in Portugal and 15 working days for residents outside Portugal.
• Once a ticket has been issued, members may change their flight schedule, but must stick to the route.
