Free Tickets

Free Tickets are valid for you or a person of your choice. They may be booked on TAP and any partner airline or a combination of them. One-way Free Tickets are also available.

Booking
The quickest and easiest way to book Free Tickets on TAP flights is online: by booking here you will also save 25 € as you will be exempt from the Ticket Service Fee.

All Victoria Customers who book their award trips through the Victoria website and who wish to issue tickets for someone other than themselves have to send an authorisation signed by them together with a copy of the identification documents which prove their signature.

In this case, it's not possible to book online in less than 48 hours before departure time. Reservations at shorter notice can only be made through Victoria Service Centre.

The aim of this procedure is to enable a more secure usage of your miles account thereby ensuring that no tickets will be issued without the authorisation of the holder.

For the booking to be confirmed, the authorisation must be received within 24 hours after the booking has been made.

If the authorisation is not sent to the e-mail address victoria.gfp@tap.pt within the deadline, the reservation will be cancelled.

Awards issue
Have your credit card number ready for payment of airport taxes and service fees. As soon as the booking is made, the miles corresponding to your award will be debited from your mileage account.

Please note that the tickets are issued immediately after booking. Waiting lists are only allowed for Gold members.

Conditions

• Free Tickets are not valid on charter flights. Free Tickets may not be combined with upgrades
• Period of validity for Free Tickets: one year after issue. Once the ticket has been issued, changes to date, time and flight number will be allowed, subject to payment of a €30 * penalty.
• For one-way awards, 50% of the value listed in the table will be charged.
• Stopovers are not permitted.
• Paying for an upgrade with miles is done by segment (for example: Funchal – Lisbon: 5,000 miles + Lisbon – Rio de Janeiro: 25,000 miles).
• The Companion Ticket is not valid for children. It can only be issued for travel on the same flight, date and class as the Gold Member ticket reservation
• The seat availability for awards varies according to the destination and time of year.
• The number of seats is limited even if flights are not fully booked.
• These awards may not be available on all flights. Please contact your Victoria Service Centre.

TAP flights
Return ticket: maximum of 4 segments.
One-way Ticket: maximum of 2 segments.

Star Alliance and partner airlines
Return ticket: maximum of 6 segments.
One-way Ticket: maximum of 3 segments.
